Help Support Our Work

Thanks to the efforts of Free Press and our allies, a federal appeals court just rejected a FCC effort to weaken media ownership limits. Had the FCC’s rules gone into effect it would have unleashed a new wave of media consolidation across the country.

This is a huge victory. But the fight isn't over.

As the FCC takes up a review of its media ownership rules this summer, we'll be pressuring the agency to make those rules even stronger, and to address the growing epidemic of covert consolidation.
