The FCC is hoping you won’t notice that it’s airing a rerun.
It just introduced proposed media ownership rules that would unleash a new wave of media consolidation across the country. If the proposal looks familiar, that’s because it’s nearly identical to the FCC rules proposed during the Bush administration — rules both the courts and the public rejected.
It’s an outrage that the FCC announcement is calculated to slide under the radar as Congress and the rest of us take time off over the holidays.
This destructive proposal doesn’t have to become reality. With your support the Free Press Action Fund will stop it.
